IIO ist keine KI-App — es ist die Governance-Infrastruktur unter Ihren KI-Tools. IIO steuert, welche Daten welches Modell sehen darf, wann ein Mensch prüfen muss (HITL-Gate) und erzeugt den Audit-Trail für Regulatoren. Sie nutzen weiterhin KI-Modelle — aber kontrolliert und dokumentiert.
Muss ich meinen Cloud-Provider wechseln?
Nein. IIO ergänzt Ihre bestehende Infrastruktur. Für den AI Hub empfehlen wir Hetzner (EU, DSGVO-konform), aber IIO läuft auch on-premise oder auf bestehendem Hosting.
Wie lange dauert die Einführung?
Der KI-Pilot ist in 4 Wochen live. IIO-Basis und IIO-Advanced sind in 2–6 Wochen produktiv. On-Prem-Deployments (Advanced/Enterprise) dauern 4–8 Wochen, abhängig von Ihrer Infrastruktur. Der Rollout folgt einem strukturierten IIO-Flow — kein Hidden State, jeder Schritt ist dokumentiert.
Was passiert bei Kündigung — bin ich locked in?
Kein Lock-in. Alle Konfigurationen und Daten gehören Ihnen. Exportformat: Git-Repository mit vollständigem Audit-Trail. Kündigungsfrist: 4 Wochen zum Monatsende.

Beide nutzen dieselbe IIO-Architektur, unterscheiden sich aber in Betrieb, Support und Governance-Verantwortung.
Ist IIO nur ein Governance-Tool?
Nein, nicht mehr nur das. IIO deckt drei Bereiche ab: Governance (HITL-Gates, Policy, Compliance), Operation (Finance, HR, Fleet, Tenant-Betrieb — der Großteil aller Layer) und Cooperation (MCP, A2A, Node-zu-Node-Protokolle mit anderen KI-Agenten). Governance war der Startpunkt, ist heute aber nur eine von drei Säulen.
Funktioniert IIO auch für physische Systeme (Robotik, Industrieanlagen)?
Die Governance-Architektur (HITL-Gates, Fail-Closed, Risk-Stratifizierung) ist domänen-unabhängig gebaut — sie ist bereits an echter Hardware erprobt (Robot-HAL, Drone-HAL, Industrie-OT-Gateway), als offene Referenzimplementierung bei Open Cognition Commons. Die aktuell verkauften iio.space-Pakete (KI-Pilot bis IIO On-Prem Enterprise) decken Software-KI ab; Robotik- und Industrie-Layer sind ab IIO On-Prem Enterprise enthalten. Weitergehende physische Systeme sind auf Anfrage möglich — Reifegrad je nach Layer L2–L4, kein fertiges Standardpaket.

What is an IIO layer? How does L1 differ from L8?
IIO is built from maturity levels: L1 is a basic idea (concept), L2 is working code (prototype), L3 is production-ready, ..., L8 is full integration and governance.
AI Pilot and IIO Basic provide L2–L3 components (working building blocks, but not fully integrated). From IIO Advanced onward (including on-prem variants), we offer L3–L5 (production-ready with governance).

Can I connect IIO to other AI agents (Claude, LangChain, AutoGen)?
Yes. The Cooperation axis (from IIO Advanced, including both on-prem packages) exposes IIO as an MCP server (Model Context Protocol) for Claude, Cursor, LangChain, etc., and via the A2A protocol for AutoGen and CrewAI.
This lets any external agent access IIO governance (HITL gates, policy checks, compliance evidence) — without needing to understand IIO internally.
